Do not order from this company. I ordered a couch and a chair March 13th and was told 4-8 weeks. The furniture took 15 weeks to come in. When I would call to ask for updates, they would not answer the phone, they would say they would look at our account and call us back which they did not. I called countless times with no help given. I wanted to cancel my order and was not allowed to. I was given excuses such as "we are short staffed", "we have been having theft issues" "I had to end my vacation early to return to work" "we forgot to order a piece" etc. I was eventually promised a $400 refund that took 6 weeks and 5 phone calls to receive. I received voicemails stating that the refund was put on my account, which never occurred. This is truly the worst customer service experience I have ever experience. I thought that buying from a local company who had such a wide variety of furniture to order from would be a great experience but I was sadly mistaken. Please do not make the same mistake I made. If I could give the company less than one star I would.
Staff acts like it is a lot of trouble to check on something that has been ordered-wait a minute-do you want my business or not!!?? I am all for shopping locally but will NEVER spend another dime at Barbara jeans and will discourage anyone I know from going there.
Terrible and rude service. I ordered mattresses there, called on them,staff had no clue where they were located, told me they would call back..never did. So I went there requested a refund the staff rudely asked who approved my refund..again my money, I said I did I do not want the mattresses and other employees don't know where they are. She then told me I'd have to talk to an owner for a refund to be approved, called again spoke with someone claiming to be the owner and he said my mattress are now on there way after I asked for my money back,I then told them I just want my refund back. They then again told me they'll call me back... I sit here waiting but informed the better business bureau of the issues with Barbara jeans. I will never buy furniture through Barbara jeans again and I will take my money and business elsewhere.
Very nice people. However, very limited selection as compared to a year ago. It was practically empty. Made us wonder if they were closing soon.
If it was possible to give less than one star I would. We ordered a sofa and almost $7000 worth of carpet from Barbara jeans in mid January 2017. Finally got the sofa at the end of February. The carpet however is another story. We put 50% down as a deposit. They initially sent the owner out to measure for the carpet. Then they sent a subcontractor out to measure. Then weeks went by- finally I called them the first week in April. I was told that the owner would call me back-he didn't. Someone else called the next day and said that the carpet was there and they would have to leave a message for the installer. So they call me a week later and tell me the installer would be at my home at noon on 4/5/17. He arrived at 10:30 and measured again!(This was neither of the same men who had come out before. Then left to get the carpet and called midafternoon to say it was raining too hard to load the carpet into the truck. Finally started the installation 4/7/17!! If you are interested in getting your furniture in a timely manner, this is not the place to go!!
